Data Processing
Location data
Caiser Track processes GPS coordinates from the Google Maps Timeline file (Zeitachse.json) that you manually import. This file is read locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server. The coordinates are used solely to identify your workplace and generate a work time report.
Reverse geocoding (optional)
To display a human-readable address for the detected workplace cluster, the app sends a single request to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service (nominatim.openstreetmap.org). This request contains only GPS coordinates — no user identifiers, no device identifiers, no personal data. The request is made over HTTPS. If the device is offline, this step is silently skipped.

In-app purchases
In-app purchases (unlocking Pro features) are handled entirely by Google Play. Caiser Track does not receive or store payment information. Google Play's privacy policy applies.
Local storage
The app saves the following to your device's local storage (SharedPreferences) only:
- Employee name (entered by you, used in exports)
- Employer name (optional, entered by you)
- Selected language
- Whether the Pro upgrade has been purchased (boolean flag)
None of this data leaves your device.

Data Sharing
Caiser Track does not share any data with third parties, except:
- The GPS coordinates described above sent to Nominatim for address lookup — optional and anonymous.
- Purchase verification handled by Google Play — not by this app.

Data Retention
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time via:
Android Settings → Apps → Caiser Track → Clear Data

Children's Privacy
Caiser Track does not target children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, the update date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
